Today, a Republican scientific conference was held through the joint organization of the Botai State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve and the Center for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the North Kazakhstan Region.

Today, a Republican scientific conference was held through the joint organization of the Botai State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve and the Center for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the North Kazakhstan Region.

The conference opened with an exhibition of paintings dedicated to the Botai culture.

The event was attended by the Akim of Aiyrtau District, M. Zh. Mendiyev, along with directors and staff from various museum-reserves and centers for the protection of historical and cultural heritage across Kazakhstan, including Ulytau, Otyrar, Karaganda, and Kokshetau. Also participating were E. Sh. Amirov, Head of the Monitoring and Protective Archaeology Group at the A. Kh. Margulan Institute of Archaeology, and M. Kiyasbek, Director of the North Kazakhstan Branch of the Margulan Institute of Archaeology.

During the conference, participants presented reports on the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, as well as museum practices.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of a compilation of monuments of the Aiyrtau District, prepared under the leadership of the Head of the North Kazakhstan Branch of the A. Kh. Margulan Institute of Archaeology.

In addition, discussions were held on recent changes in legislation related to the protection of historical and cultural heritage, and pressing challenges in the field were identified and analyzed.

The conference concluded with all participants receiving certificates of participation, recognizing their contribution to the ongoing study and preservation of Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage.
